Commercial Grade Reverse Osmosis Systems for Resellers (Distributors)

Reverse osmosis drinking water systems for home and business. EverWave Filtration offers top quality, commercial grade RO systems for safer, better tasting water.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Reverse Osmosis is one of the most well-known filtration methods used today. Osmosis is a naturally occurring phenomenon that can be found in nature, but also can be reversed, resulting in the filtration of water. Reverse Osmosis (also known as RO) systems are prized for their ability to remove up to 99% of contaminants like particles and bacteria. RO drinking water systems offer quality water at your point of use.

How Reverse Osmosis Works

Reverse osmosis occurs when water is forced across a semi-permeable RO membrane. Osmosis is a process that happens in nature, where water with a lower salt concentration passes across a semi-permeable membrane into water with a higher salt concentration. This process occurs naturally, and even takes place in the human body.

The process can be reversed, however, which is where the name “Reverse Osmosis” comes from. By applying pressure, water molecules can be forced back across the semi-permeable membrane. The water that comes out the other side is free of almost all the salt and contaminants. This is called the permeate water, and it is the drinking water that is produced from an RO system.

Benefits of RO Systems

Why are Reverse Osmosis systems one of the most well-known types of filtration? RO systems have been around for years, and they are highly reliable. Although they do not guarantee 100% removal of all things, they do remove up to or over 99% of chlorine, dissolved minerals and other microscopic contaminants. RO water is often touted as “bottled water” quality.

RO systems also offer the ability to collect filtered water in a tank for future use. This is especially convenient for users who may want to quickly fill a pitcher or pot for cooking, without having to wait for the slower flow of Ultrafiltration.

For safer, better tasking water, RO is an excellent choice for your home or business. Aside from reliability, reverse osmosis drinking water systems are also affordable to install. This is especially true when you consider the benefits of better water for you and your family.
